RESORT OVERVIEW

The International Centre Goa is a society run resort which offers a serene atmosphere and a relaxing retreat from the city. Set amidst 14 acres of land on the Taleigao Plateau at Dona Paula, facing the confluence of the Zuari River and the Arabian Sea, the Centre's 42 air-conditioned rooms provide comfortable and affordable accommodation in Goa. The resort also has three conference halls, multi-cuisine restaurant, a well-equipped library, several beautifully manicured lawns of different sizes, and two open air amphi-theatres with stage designed especially for weddings and events. The complex also includes a swimming pool, a gymnasium, spa and recreation centre.

 

WEDDINGS & EVENTS 

The International Centre Goa is a perfect venue for outdoor and indoor weddings. The centre comes with a number of outdoor lawns which can cater to small weddings or larger gatherings. The centre also has a number of small banquet halls which are perfect for pre-wedding events like the Mehndi. The resort also provides its own catering and beverage services. All in all the centre is a hot favourite in the budget wedding category of resorts and we highly recommend this place for weddings and celebrations.

 

WEDDING VENUES 

LARAN

A terraced, landscaped theater with a stage that offers a majestic view of the confluence of the Zuari river and the Arabian Sea and has a capacity of 650 people sitting and 1000 moving. Laran is perfect for wedding reception parties, sangeet ceremonies and other functions for larger gatherings.

 

ZAIYO & ZUIYO

The centre also offers two smaller grass lawns with a capacity of 50 & 100 persons respectively. The two lawns are side by side and can also be used together for upto 150 guests in a banquet style setup. Highly recommended for wedding pheras and smaller reception parties.

 

DIVLI

Divli is a well manicured lawn near the entrance of the resort which also has a ready made stage and backdrop. The outdoor lawn has a capacity for around 50 people and is perfect for cocktail parties.

 

PALKI LAWNS

Adjoining the restaurant "Palki" lies a delightful little sit-out lawn which has swings and umbrella shades. The Palki lawns are perfect for small intimate functions like an outdoor mehndi or a mini-cocktail party for about 30 guests.

 

MANDOVI

The Mandovi Banquet Hall is an air-conditioned indoor hall which can accomodate about 60 guests. Perfect for Ring Ceremonies and other intimate wedding events.

 

ZUARI

The Mandovi Banquet Hall is a smaller air-conditioned indoor hall which can accomodate about 30 guests. Perfect for small gatherings and events like Choora, Mehndi and other functions which need to be held indoors.

 

PALKI

Palki is a bar cum dining hall perfect for cocktail parties for upto 25 guests. The venue comes with a pre-set bar setup which also opens out to the Palki Lawns.

 

ABOLIM

Abolim is an air-conditioned multi-purpose hall which is ideal for wedding events due to its wider space and different architecture. The venue can easily house about a 120 guests moving and about 80 guests in a banquet setup. The venue is recommended for all kinds of ceremonies and events to be held indoors.

 

ACCOMMODATION

STANDARD ROOMS

The International Centre Goa offers 42 comfortable air-conditioned rooms. Of these four rooms are wheelchair and disabled friendly. Each room has large spacious balconies facing the Zuari River and the Arabian Sea. Rooms have most of the amenities of any resort like Internet connectivity, Television, Mini Fridge, etc. Guests can also avail of other resort facilities like the Swimming Pool, the Gym and the Recreation Room.

SPICES

Spices is a reasonably priced restaurant which caters to a variety of cuisines like Indian, Continental and Chinese. It is an à la carte restaurant and is open to walk-in guests and room guests.
